insect 2

The beetle eats types of plants and sometimes seeds from a certain plant. They can be 1 to 2.5 cm long. They are also in the middle of the food chain because they eat plants and fungi and the debris of animals and they are eaten by lizards and birds such as hawks.Their young are called a mealworm. One of these landed on my hand when I was outside picking flowers.
